Windows 10: How do I remove a default Language Keyboard on Windows 10?

Currently there are two language keyboards on my PC English U.S and Vietnamese. I mainly use ENG keyboard and never use Vietnamese. Every time I play games, the language automatically switches to Vietnamese even though I never switch the input. It bothers me a lot because it just interferes while i'm playing and I don't like having it at all.I tried to remove it from Setting -> Time & Language -Language but there's no option to remove it. It doesn't even show the language itself.

Hi Sandra,

You can try these steps to set up your preferred defaults:

• Go to Settings and click Time & Language.
• Click Region & Language.
• Click on your default system language then, click Options.
• Click Add a keyboard then choose your preferred keyboard language.
• Remove the other keyboard language by choosing it then click Remove.

Tell us if this works.

Dear dalchina,
thank you for the reply, but I am probably missing something.
As you can see from the attached picture, language settings DOES NOT list the keyboard layout I want to remove (ENG INTL). So, how can I remove a layout that is not listed in the Language settings?

Try Settings, Search language, Edit language and keyboard options, Click on the relevant language to reveal Options



Click Options, down to Keyboards, Click the relevant keyboard, Click Remove
