Windows 10: How do I remove an external work account from Windows 11 that I no longer have access to?

Teams is telling me that there is a problem with one of my accounts. There is nowhere in Windows 11 to remove it. I'm guessing that's because I've never logged into it since the Windows 11 install. The Microsoft MyAccount Organizations page shows the account, but I cannot leave as clicking on the Leave link takes me to the login page for that organization.

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

How do I remove an old work account I no longer have access to in Windows 11?

It is not listed under work & school so I can't use that to disconnect.

Under email & accounts, I can select manage, and then I select to remove this account from your device, but then it just gets stuck loading and never actually removes the account.

I no longer have access to this account as it was an old work account.

Please help me find another way to remove this account from my device.

Just a quick recap, you've set up Windows Hello on a user account on your
PC that is associated with a business account you no longer have access to. Is that right? If that is the case, you could simply
remove the user account on your PC. You will need an administrator account in order to remove a user account. To remove a user account on your PC, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings>Accounts>Family & other users.
• Select the user account that you want to remove.
• Click Remove.
• You'll be prompted again, click Delete account and data.
  
  (Note: Removing a user account deletes all the data the is saved in it)

Upon removing that account on your PC, you can now set up Windows Hello.
