    Nokia 301 - how to remove email alert? (while keeping sms alert?)

    information: Nokia 301. v08.02 18-11-13 RM-840.



    how to remove email alert? (while keeping sms alert?)



    Do I need to downgrade the installation or something?



    The 'Mail' doesnt have any settings related to the alert sound...



    Possibly Relevant Profile settings:

    - Vibration alert: off

    - Msg. alert tone: standard

    - End of list tone: off

    - Other tones: off

    - App tones: off



    There is no setting just for the email, and turning the App tones off wont help...



    Would love any help How do I remove email alerts :) It is a really good phone if I ignore this problem.

    Try these steps:

    To turn on and turn off email notifications, follow these steps:



    • From the Start screen, touch the screen and slide left.
    • Scroll to and tap Settings.
    • Tap ringtones+sounds.
    • Tap manage app sounds.
    • Tap the email account.
    • Tap the Notification sound field.
    • Select the desired alert option.
