Windows 10: How do I remove "ENG CS" as a 2nd language and "ENG US" from the system tray

I reset my Win10 laptop back to factory and wiped all of my personal data so I could send it in for repairs. I don't know why or how it happened, but during the reinstallation process I suddenly had "ENG US" and "ENG CS" (Czech) come up as my two language options. Now "ENG US" shows up on the system tray next to the time/date. I've removed Czech as the second language several times but it keeps coming back. How do I remove Czech and just have English and remove the icon on the system tray? Any ideas?

System tray language identifier, no 2nd language installed


So here's the problem. A few days ago in outlook 2016 i installed English (US) as a spellcheck language. Ever since then i have the [NLD/ENG] switch sitting in the bottom of my system tray and it's pissing me off. When i go to keyboard settings i have NO second language installed, and Win 10 itself was installed with an NLD version only. How on earth do i get rid of that damn thing. The usual fix is to remove the redundant keyboard languages, but that's exactly where the problem is. I don't have any.

 

Remove language from the keyboard

I follow all the steps listed here. However, the "Remove" button is not active

How can I activate the button?

Step 1: System
Settings window.

1. Press Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open
   Settings page.
2. Click on Time & language from the options and select
   Region & language from the left side panel of the window.
3. Click on the keyboard language you want to remove under Languages and click on
   Remove.
4. Close the window and check if the changes are effective.

 

Lost clock and calendar from system tray after update on September 25, 2016

There are several reasons why this issue happens. To help you resolve this concern, we suggest that you adjust the height of the system tray. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the system tray.
• Make sure that the Lock all taskbars
  option is unchecked.
• Try positioning your cursor at the top edge of the system tray until you see a vertical line with arrows at both tips.
  
• Hold the left mouse button down and drag the edge of the system tray upward to expand it.
