    How do I remove notification box that appears above calendar, even when settings are off


    HelloHow do I get rid of the notification box that appears above the calendar? I turned off all the notification settings, but the box still appears and cuts the calendar in half. I don't want the box to appear at all, only the full calendar month. Thank you

    Calendar Notifications Stopped Working / Appearing

    My Calendar notifications have stopped working.
    The Calendar App is working fine and I have no problem adding events.
    When I navigate to Settings > System > Notifications the Calendar App does not appear. See screen shot below.
    I am used to relying on the Calendar notifications or reminders, any suggestions are appreciated.

    Hi dooballoh,

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    There is currently no setting or even a known registry hack to remove that notification panel from Windows 11 even if all notifications are disabled.

    The best option would be to open the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and suggest this as an option to the developers there, it makes sense if all notifications are disabled, there would be no need for that box to appear above the Calendar.

    Calendar Appears Then Disappears

    No, when I looked at all of the steps involved, it appeared to be a bit beyond my meager computer skills. Additionally, the method shown to remove and then reinstall the calendar indicates that the calendar and the mail apps are integrated, and since my Outlook is working just fine, I decided to not mess with it.
