Windows 10: How do I remove One-drive from Windows 11 permanently and restore my files to laptop

In 2018 I purchased Office 2016 as a standalone product where there were to be no updates on my Excel or Word. I was happy with this because I actually hate change and didn't want the aggravation. In June I had an update and suddenly my apps were different. I couldn't open them from my shortcuts and couldn't figure out what was going on. Then I realized it changed with a windows update. Suddenly my applications had been updated and they weren't supposed to be. I notified support. Wasn't given explicit information about what happened. Told them I wanted my application back. Of course I lost all

Reinstalling Windows 10 to sell a PC - is the 'Remove everything' option enough?

Restore factory settings do list Removes your personal files, apps and settings, and reinstalls the version of Windows that came on this PC.

So if this isn't true well than just erase the drive and install a clean Windows 10 with all the drivers u need but why should it be true

The path of the drive may differ from the new laptop to the old laptop. It depends on where you plugged in the external hard drive. At this point, we'd like to ask the following to assist you better:

• Was the hard drive before a storage drive only or a main hard drive of a computer?
• What type of files were you trying to restore?
• Can you please send screenshots of how you restore your files? Blur any personal information for your security.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
