Windows 10: How do I remove some text that is stuck to my screen. It persists even after restarting the...

I was conducting a software update on my laptop and while it was updating and restarting it got stuck on the "Updates are underway" part and froze. I restarted my PC with the power button but now the text of "Updates are underway" is permanently present on my screen. I have tried restarting my device again. Reinstalling the drivers for my Graphics. Checking between my integrated and dedicated GPU. Can someone please guide me on how to have it removed? Thank you in advance

Stuck on restarting screen

It's really odd that your computer doesn't continue to restart and even got stuck on the restarting screen. However, since you're using a laptop, we suggest that you remove and put the battery back in your laptop, then boot it up again. Once your computer
boots up completely, we suggest that you restart your computer and see if the issue persists.

windows update stuck at installation screen and cannot get to desktop

To understand the issue better, I would like to ask some questions:

• Is the computer stuck in the Installing updates screen?
• For how long is the computer stuck in the screen?
• When was the computer last updated?
• Is the screen showing any percentage of installation?

Sometimes the installation might take a long time to install if the update is of large size. So, I suggest you to wait for sometime and check if the system boots to the desktop. If it is taking a longer time, then perform a Power Drain by following the steps
provided below:

• Shut down the Computer.
• Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
• Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Connect the power source and start the computer.
• After the computer boots to the desktop, suggest you to install all the pending updates.
