    How do I remove the need for a password when I cannot access the password change screen?


    When going to the Sign-in option, Password section then click on the "Change" button all I get is a blank grey box pop-up which immediately disappears without letting me change anything.

    change the lock screen password

    Hi Eric,

    Let us resolve you concern regarding on how you can change your lock screen password. We suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Press the Windows key; then, select Settings.
    • Click Accounts; then, Sign-In Options.
    • Tap the Change button in the Password section.
    • Re-enter your password; then, create a new password.

    Password issue

    After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
