    How do I remove update files since rolling back from 1809 to 1803


    Hi I had to roll back to 1803 from 1809 because of bluetooth and brightness isuues. My 'C' drive has now increased from 72gb to 93gb which I presume is due to the 1809 update. I have looked at Disk Clean Up and System File Clean up and it does not show that quantity of files. Can I clean up these files and, if so, what is the safest way of doing it or do I leave well alone until 1809 roll out restarts?

    cannot save word files after 1809 update

    My only suggestion is to roll back to version 1803. And then block 1809.

    Windows 1809 Started the install on Surface Pro 4 but it stopped and the update screen closed by itself.

    It started the download of 1809 and I walked away. Came back twenty minutes later and the update page was no longer open. Tried update again and it said it's updated.

    It didn't complete the update or state the RESTART NOW.

    Update history lists 1809 and states RESTART REQUIRED but since it didn't complete the install restarting does nothing.

    So it thinks it's installed the 1809 update but it hasn't. It won't download 1809 again.

    ABOUT say's it is 1803.

    Suggestions?

    Skip 1803 and get 1809.

    Is it okay for me to skip the April 1803 update and get the Fall 1809 update instead?
