Windows 10: How do I remove write protection from a folder?

Hello,I have the following problem:On my phone's SD card android, using a 128GB SanDisk card, I have a data error phones can't read the card anymore, also different cameras and other "dumb" devices refuse to read the card. I have been trying to format the card several times now, using different Windows, Linux and Android devices as well as even trying out third-party programs on all those systems, after backing up all my data I can still access it all through Windows.If I delete data from the card and try to then format it, Windows fails the formatting process and all the deleted data sh

Unable to remove write protection from folders.

Modifying changes in permissions with folders and files requires you being logged in to your administrator account to ensure it will be saved. To help you remove the write protection from folders, follow the steps below:

• Type File Explorer on the search bar then click on the folder you need to change permissions to.
  
• On the menu, click on Share > Advanced security
  > double click on your administrator user profile> Edit >
  Show Advanced permissions.
• Make sure that the category under Type: is set to allow and on
  Applies to: set to This folder, subfolders and files.
• Under advanced permissions, remove the check on Write attributes and
  Write extended attributes. You can also remove the check of the choices you prefer.
• Click on OK then restart your PC.

How do you remove write-protection on a folder?

Maybe in Windows 10 it is a little more complicated than the old article suggests. Win 10 sets the document folder itself (along with pictures and so on) to write protect. It can be changed with administrator rights, but it will immediately revert to write
protect. That means that not even from Word you can save a new document in the Document folder.

So - Users Document Folder is write protected even from both its owner and any administrator. Doesnt seem too smart...

 

Removing write protect

Last year I went through an important data folder on my PC and Write Protected the individual files of folders. Now I need to copy them to a USB stick to install on another Lap Top. Every time I try to copy I get a Write Protect message and my USB flash
drive is Write Protected with no data. Repeatedly I've selected individual folders, selected Properties, and tried to remove the Write Protection and indications and it works. To verify I reselect the same folder and go to Properties again. Write Protect
is still there. I've used Apply with bo success. How can I remove Write Protect?no success.
