How can I access the laptop that was provided by my previous employer and reset it to where it's not coming up as there's I paid for the laptop and I still can't use it

For others,

Until the OP reposts those images, this is the best I can do [pictures updated after I discovered a utility called PerspectiveImageCorrection]. I think it is enough to allow identification of the screens.

This one looks, to me, to be a Bios system password prompt, as expected.




I don't know this one. I don't know Bitlocker.

Couldn't you just email your former employer at let them know the machine they gave your is password locked. They should be able to provide the credentials to unlock it.

A 'System password' in the Bios is a show stopper. I think your only hope is trying to phone somebody you knew in the former employer's IT section and asking for the System password. But I would be surprised if they gave it to you because it is likely to be a common System password for all their computers.

Some computer makers used to give out 'master' system passwords for users with problems but they all gradually formalised things and started demanding proof of ownership before offering to help [for a fee]. I'd bet MS are also very formal about this, assuming they will help at all.
