    How do I reset / clear the recent emoji in Touch Keyboard?(W10)


    I am attempting to clear the recent emojis tab so that it becomes blank, as I need that page to be blank as a 'buffer' for a non-savvy individual. I intend to use a batch file and task scheduler to remove the file storing the data with administrative privileges during startup.

    I cannot figure out where TabSvc.dll(run by svchost) store the recent emoji data, tried restoring the .dll files from the install image to no avail. Restarting TabletInputService does not seem to clear the recent emoji list either.
    Could it be stored in .ebd files such as systemsf.ebd? Or is it in temp/Appdata folder? It is not very convenient for me to reset the PC at this time.

    How do I reset / clear the recent emoji in Touch Keyboard?(W10)

    After hours of fiddling with a spare Windows 8.1 Tablet and process monitor, I finally found the registry key responsible for storing previously used emojis. Should be largely applicable to W10 as well.
    To clear it, go to:
    HKCU/Software/Microsoft/TabletTip/1.7 and choose KeyBoardEmojiMFU which is a REG_BINARY value. Simply clear it by setting it all to 00 and the list is cleared.

    Alternatively, copy the below and save it as .reg file:
