Windows 10: How do I reset default apps on Microsoft? The reset options in settings is not working.

So I accidentally set the default app to notepad for.acsm files. I tryed to reset it but made the default app word. Then I went to settings and clicked reset default apps and now the .acsm file is stuck like this

Reseting monitor to default settings?

Is it possibel to reset the monitor to default settings?

My problem is that I accidently set the monitor to 100Hz, so it went black in windows. I can get into safe mode with no problems, but in normal mode the monitor stays black. Is it possible to set the Hz in safe mode? I can't access the NVIDIA control panel in safe mode, and the monitor properties say 'Use Defaults'.

Monitor model is: Dell D1226H.

Default programs repeatedly reset to "MS" programs/apps

I had the same problem.
Possible causes:

1. Acrobat preference does not work and if you click on it, it will reset to Windows default acrobat reader with the message:
   
   
   
2. If Windows has update for Acrobat reader App, it will reset it to default.

Just set it from Control Panel->Default Programs->Set Your default programs
High lite Acrobat then click on: Set this program as default.
