Windows 10: How do I reset my computer? without losing mcafee subscription

I just purchased a new computer and it copied my old computers folders over, however i also activated mcafee...i want to undo this however if i do a factory reset will i lose my mcafee subscription as well?

McAfee popups " your subscription has expired" have jumped up onto my screen about 100 times in the last several weeks. How to make them STOP?

Why is McAfee pre-installed after resetting my PC?

I have a Dell Inspiration 15 laptop. The computer was acting slow, so I used Windows 10's built in recovery tools to reset my copy of Windows to a clean slate.





Just a few hours after resetting, I received a notification that McAfee LiveSafe had been pre-installed on my PC, and that I would need to renew my subscription in 30 days.

I reset my PC to get rid of extraneous programs, not to have McAfee reinstall itself without permission.

Why did McAfee reinstall itself after resetting my PC? How can I prevent it from installing on future resets?
