Windows 10: how do i reset my device manager in network adapters called Realtek gaming gbe family...

i don't know how to fix this

Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller

Device Manager, Network Adapter showing Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller. Ping also ok. But internet not connecting. Troubleshoot says cable is unpluged. Earlier it was working, but to power surge, it is not working. What could be the reason solution
for that.

 

Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller very slow upload speed problem

This worked for me:

• Open Device Manager
• Open Network adapters
• Right-click on Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, select Properties
• Click on Advanced tab.
• Disable everything except for Flow Control
• Click OK

After doing that, my upload speed increased from 0.3MB/S to 3.60MB/S on internet speed test.

 

Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller - fixed!

Whenever win10 dose an install, upgrade or update it likes to set many hardware devices power management settings.

If you can get to device manager, open the properties of the network card , turn off power management,

check the advanced tab,if you do not have ipv6 network disable it (3 things listed),WOL & link speed set to the higher number first.

I have the adapter on two computers, one win10 pro and had to set the adapter this way to get it to work and not shut off periodically.
