    How do I resolve this error: ERR_SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC_ALERT


    I accepted and installed Windows 11 Version 22h2. After installation, when I try to access certain sites including MS sites using Wifi, I receive this error: ERR_SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC_ALERTWhen I connect via Ethernet, I have no issues. It appears that the issue is some sort of default setting that the windows update has put in place for communicating over wifi with secure sites HTTPS. I have worked with your online support via chat for 9HOURS so far... over two days. Supposedly with tier 1 for 3 hours on the first night, then another 6 hours with Tier 2. I am now in the queue for Tier 3.

    Hi to everyone!!

    I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 15 (3583) - i7-8565U - 16GB - 512GB SSD - Win 10 and whenever i try to reach some websites this problem(ERR_SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC_ALERT) can occur.The strange think is that this happens
    and then it can fix without any action from me.I did a lot of of troubleshooting(set time to automatic,uninstalled SmartByte,changed MTU) but nothing happened this error continues to occur randomly during the day.Do you have any suggestions?

    How do I resolve this error: ERR_SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC_ALERT

    upgrade problems from win7 to win10

    I've suggested some basic steps... but no guarantees that will help. The tutorial has details if you work thru the section on resolving errors- the logs are not diagnostic.
