Windows 10: How do I restart HDMI audio without restarting computer?

For some reason, my HDMI audio frequently disappears from the available audio devices the volume control and the audio mixing panel. When I restart the HDMI and hi-def audio drivers it almost never restarts the HDMI audio. ASUS monitor into an EVGA RTX 3060 card. Other audio available is Logitech headset USB and ASUS sound card; motherboard audio disabled. If I restart the computer it works fine, until it just disappears from the panel again sometimes within an hour, sometimes a few days, but almost always before I need to restart for other reasons. Should I be restarting the driver

Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.

And another thing to try:
Update your audio drivers (strange that this would be necessary as there hadn't been any changes for me; but it usually is a good idea to have the latest drivers anyway).
Note: We did have a PC whose audio stopped working and a BIOS update solved it. This definitely wasn't the root of the problem for that computer because it was working like normal before and there were no apparent changes (and the user didn't have administrative access). I'd recommend this as a last step. I've never had a problem with a BIOS update but prefer to do it only if there is a useful fix (and of course better to back up before).

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked
note: make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled

2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver

6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse

After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

 

computer restarts

when i try to run games in general, this computer restarts. the games i tried are age of empires, counter strike 1.6, dod, and star wars battlefront. the computer will restart after ~5mins of gaming. it will also restart if you have music playing, watching a video and having a browser open.
it can even restart when the computer is running idle, on occasion
i downloaded atitool, when i scan for artifcats, it will scan for 2 mins and then the computer restarts. heh

im thinking its a hardware issue, i downloaded avg free, and this computer has no apparent viruses. could it be a video card? perhaps RAM?
the RAM in this computer is some random brand called 'DRAM masters', so i doubt it is well made compared to cosair or something like that.
i went to administrative tools and checkd the event viewer, nothing is wrong with that...
PSU? Mobo?

this has been happening for about a year, then i replaced the hard drive, reformatted and the problem still occured. this is why i thnk it is a hardware issue.

is there some software that can monitor the computers performance?
