Windows 10: How do I Restore the same windows as it was Previously.

I Need help...I was looking online for " how to lock a folder" And the result i came up with is some website saying you should: 1. Navigate to the folder or file you want to encrypt.2. Right-click the item, click Properties, then click Advanced.3. Check Encrypt contents to secure data. Click OK, then click Apply.4. Windows then asks if you want to encrypt only the file or its parent folder and all the files within that as well. Opt for full-folder encryption to be safe.5. A pop-up window will offer you the option to back up the encryption key to ensure you never l

Windows XP PRO error after restore

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.

 

Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect


In addition to the above. Here's my suggestion in step by step.
I assume you have Macrium Installed in your current HD and already made a backup copy.

1. Connect your new HD via USB port and boot up.
2. Run Macrium, click on Restore tab then select the Backup Image that you made to restore
3. click on "select a different target disk" then select your new HD as destination
   
   
   
4. Proceed to restore then Shutdown and disconnect the old HD and replace with the new HD
5. Boot up with your new HD.

 

Windows 10 - Cannot access restored files from backup - denied permission.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to open Command prompt with Admin.

  Right Click on Windows Icon.
  
• 
  Select Command Prompt (Admin) and follow the steps given previously and check if it helps.
