Windows 10: how do i restore to a point before a factory reset?

Discus and support how do i restore to a point before a factory reset? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i need to see if i can go back and copy what was on my sticky notes. i selected the option to retain all my data but the sticky notes were erased....     how do i restore to a point before a factory reset?


    i need to see if i can go back and copy what was on my sticky notes. i selected the option to retain all my data but the sticky notes were erased.

    How to delete inactive System Image Restore Points in System Restore

    Windows 10 64-bit.
    When I click "show more restore points" in System Restore I see a bunch of old "system image restore points" that were deleted in past and do not correspond to any currently active restore points. Clicking any of these old restore points, I simply get an error message saying they could not be found, and to select another restore point instead.I would like to delete these restore points listings but have been unable to do so.
    So far, I have tried steps mentioned below without any luck :

    Disk Cleanup through (Chow do i restore to a point before a factory reset? :) Properties
    Disable System Protection (OFF and ON) in System Protection for OS (Chow do i restore to a point before a factory reset? :)
    Disk Space Usage to minimum (slider button all the way to the left then 'Delete all restore points for this drive'),
    Delete all shown Restore points in CCleaner (the problem ones do not show here),
    Reset Windows Backup to Default in Windows 10 with 'Reset_Windows_Backup.bat' utility.

    Any suggestions highly welcome.

    How to undo factory reset in windows 10

    I had reset my laptop to factory settings without deleting personal files, but one of my software was deleted with its own database.

    Any suggestions for how to undo this reset effect? There is no system restore point.

    What can I do to recover that software or at least the database mdf and ldf file

    ive tried to restore factory reset but now stuck in bios

    Could you describe how you tried to 'reset' it? Was there a restore point in use?

    Being stuck in the Bios is never a good thing. Make sure your hard drive is working properly and your HD is set to 1st in the boot list.
