    How do I retrieve my recovery key?


    The link to my recovery key is a blank screen with a message saying “something went wrong”. Its been like this for days; how do I actually get my recovery key?

    Hello,

    Thank you for providing the steps. However my laptop is in no condition to work to disable the encryption. Is it possible to do it on someone else's laptop? Also, there are no recovery keys to be found in any of my Microsoft accounts associated with me. I have the numerical password retrieved from cmd via -manage bde - protectors -drive. However, i am unable to get the 48-bit key, as it not stored anywhere and I do not recall encrypting my drive.

    My computer is locked by BitLocker and the recovery key is not showing in the Microsoft account (the device is listed). How can I generate/retrieve the key (I don't have it stored anywhere)?
