    How do I return to a stable Windows 10 Build?


    Hi there,

    I have recently joined the Windows Insider's Dev Channel, and am on build 20161.1. Then build is set to expire soon and do not want to face losing all my apps and data.

    Is a way to return back to a stable build 2004 from this build. The 'going back to a previous version' option is no longer available, and I am wondering if there is a way to revert without losing my apps.

    How do I install windows 10 without harming my windows 7?


    Here's what I suggest you to do:
    1. From Windows 7, download & Install Macrium Reflect Free. Connect one of your new 500GB HD and clone your current Windows 7 to it. Follow step 1,2,3 from the screen shot:

    1. Disconnect your current Windows 7 then boot up with the new cloned copy of Windows 7
    2. Upgrade it to Windows 10 so it will be fully activated.
    3. If you decide to keep Windows 10 then do a fresh install of Windows 10. If not, disconnect the 500GB HD containing Windows 10 then re-connect your Windows 7
    4. You are back to where it was before.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
