Windows 10: How do I revert to the correct Bluetooth driver for my AirTurn pedal?

Following a recent Windows 11 update, my AirTurn BT-200 pedal silently turns music pages stopped working, showing "Driver error" in the Bluetooth settings. AirTurn doesn't have drivers, saying Microsoft must have updated the Bluetooth driver. Also, they say the driver must be for a "Low energy device, HID, and GATT." How do I get the correct driver from Microsoft?This sudden driver error has disrupted my CD music recording project.

Bluetooth music pedal won't connect

I have no other computer to try it on, but it did connect successfully with an Amazon Fire tablet.

The make and model of my PC is a Dell Inspiron 3268. I have Windows 10 Home.

I had followed all the troubleshooting steps described in that link you gave, but just to list them:

1. checked Bluetooth was turned on (and turned it off and on again)
2. checked the device (Bluetooth music pedal) was on and fully charged (it was).
   
3. checked airplane mode was off (it was)
4. Tried unplugging nearby USB devices (obviously trying to connect the music pedal after each one).
5. I could not “remove” the Bluetooth device because it hadn’t connected in the first place.
6. Ran the Bluetooth troubleshooter. It said everything was OK.
7. Checked the drivers – clicked Update and search (which said the best drives were already installed), but restarted anyway.

(The troubleshooting advice in the pedal’s manual doesn’t address a failure to connect. Its first step is to “forget” the pedal from the host device, but of course it isn’t connected in the first place. Nevertheless I did follow the reset procedure
it advised.)

None of that made any difference.

However, one thing I didn’t do before was go to the Bluetooth wifi device (Qualcomm QCA9565) manufacturers’ site to download a driver from there. This I have just done, installed it (choosing the default “Repair” option in the exe file), and restarted.

The problem remains the same. Just to remind you: when I click “Add Bluetooth or other device”, It finds “Bluetooth Music Pedal, Input”. I click it, it tries connecting for a few seconds, then says “We didn’t get any response from the device. Try
connecting again” That just produces the same result.

Thank you for replying.



It seems that the Bluetooth music pedal is not getting connected with the computer. If you have any other computer, I would suggest you to try connecting the Bluetooth music pedal with that computer and see the result.



I would like to know the make and model of the computer that you are using.



Also, I would like to know if you have performed the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article in my previous reply. Please update us on the result of the troubleshooting steps that you have performed.

Airturn BT-200 DUO Driver Error - bluetooth driver

Make sure you have the AirTurn device set to the correct mode. In the case of a PC/Laptop that mode is 3. I just had this same issue while helping a buddy install his.
