  2. Lost browser volume controls.

    Hi Ron,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

As you are facing issues with volume control in browsers, do let us know the following:

    • Which browser are you using to access the websites (Microsoft Edge/ Internet Explorer)?
    • If you are using any third party browser, then try to access in Microsoft Edge/ Internet Explorer and check?
    • Is this issue specific to any particular website?
    • Are you using any third party audio mixer on Windows 10?

I would like to inform that when you are playing any audios/ videos from a website on any browser, the player would be embedded with-in the browser.

Some of the players contain separate options to mute and volume control whereas, few of the browsers contain single option for both mute and volume control.

Move over the mouse on option gives you volume control, click on the option gives you mute.

Hope it helps. Reply to the post with required information and brief description about the issue for further assistance.

  4. How do I rid of the browser summary when I click on volume control / network connections?

    Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.

  10. VOLUME and NETWORK buttons in taskbar do nothing when clicked

    in Windows 10 Support
VOLUME and NETWORK buttons in taskbar do nothing when clicked: When I click on the volume and network buttons in the bottom right of the task bar nothing opens up. Sometimes a brief loading circle appears but neither pop up with a menu. I disabled fast boot but that did not fix the problem. Not sure what else to try, thanks. 117995
