    How do I rid this machine of needless gimmicks like "administrator" nonsense on a home...


    I live alone and have a home PC that is refusing to copy files because of some BS "administrator" nonsense .It looks like its copying but it does not copy anything . I could not make sense of a very long winded video about shutting off administratornonsense .Why are all these needless gimmicks turned on by default ?Why not leave them off by default and let those who need them go hunt around wasting time all day turning them on ?I have another machine where I installed a "debloated" copy of windows 11 .It still has all the garbage AND its impossible to get into BIOS .I've tried every method an

    Get rid of "contact your Administrator" nonsense?

    I am willing to bet that the majority of PC's in use are owned by private individuals. They are not working for the FBI or the CIA, so this absurd nonsense of "you don't have permission" and "contact your administrator" needs to go away permanently. If
    that level of security is required, then it should be something that is set up when first using Windows or installing Windows...and if it is on a Home computer it should never be required again.

    These message "you don't have permission" and "contact your administrator" is an annoyance that affects I would guess 80% of PC home users.

    As always, there seems to be lots of alleged fixes out there, which may work on versions earlier than Win 10... but not with Win 10. The struggle for getting rid of this now un-needed bloat seems to be wrapped up in file permissions. But even when I try to clobber it with administrative authority, it won't budge. One fix suggests that you can use disk cleanup to get rid of it by selecting previous installation files. Heh. Yeah. Just TRY and find that option in Win 10.

    Ok. Somebody hopefully has managed to resolve this inigma. Step by step, please. How do I rid this machine of needless gimmicks like "administrator" nonsense on a home... :)
