How do I save snip screenshots as .JPG?

    Hi,

You can save a screenshot directly as a .jpeg file in the Snipping tool. You can do that by following these steps:

    • Press File.

    • Select Save As....

    • Choose a File name.

    • Select the drop-down besides Save as type.

    • Select JPEG file.

    • Press Save.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

How do I save a screenshot after I have captured it with Win+Shift+S?

How do I save snip screenshots as .JPG?

I really do not want to go through all the steps to open another program so I can then edit the .PNG file. Is there any way in Win-10 to have the screen capture saved as a .jpg directly?

If not I guess I will need to abandon this MS "tool" and use a 3rd party program that can do screen-shot capture.
