  1. How do I save a Sound Scheme to use on another computer?

Somehow the custom sound scheme I saved reverted back to the default Windows 10 sounds.

I copied a folder of Windows 7 sounds to the c:\Windows\Media folder. Then I changed the individual sounds to point to the ones in the folder. (asterisk, critical stop, device disconnect, etc.)

When I started the PC yesterday, the sounds reverted back to the default sounds. The new saved scheme is still there in the drop-down list, but they now play the default sounds instead of the Win 7 sounds I have.

How do I save a sound scheme so I can revert back to it after another Windows hiccup, or when I reinstall Windows? Does saving a Windows Theme also save sounds that I can use on another computer? (or another Windows install)

    Thanks in advance.
