Windows 10: How do I save files to my current project folder/subfolder instead of to where I last saved...

Hi,I work with a number of different file types - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, JPG, PNG, etc. - for different projects. Projects are organized by folders and subfolders.It appears that whatever app or tool I'm using, when I go to save a file, it will try to save it in the folder where I last saved a file of that type instead of where I'm currently working, then I have to waste time browsing for that folder. For example, I might use PowerPoint to lay out a graphic, then convert the graphic to a PNG. I know that is not what PowerPoint is generally used for, but I find it the easiest tool to do all

Save as: All file types saved my project as a mpdb file

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

mpdb is a database (project) file in Mixpad, thta will save the current sudio project for future editing

You must export the audo track from Mixpad, use these steps.

Click the 'Export Mix' button on the toolbar

Select an File Type: from the dropdown list (mp3, wav etc).

Select a location to save the audio track to.

Click the Export button

  Are you trying to save the email attached file? Please elaborate.
  

If you are using Outlook email, let’s try simple steps and check if it helps. Try the below steps provided.

Step 1.

If you want to save only the attached file from the email, try the below step.

• 
  Right click on the attached file and click on Save as.
  
• 
  Now select a folder location where you want to save the attached file.
  

Step 2.

If you want to save the file along with the email try the below steps provided.

• 
  Open the mail you want to save and click on File on the top of the right side.
  
• 
  Click on Save As and select a folder location where you want to save the email.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm opening up an attachment from a google account. When I right click I don't have the 'save as' option also I did not have that option when I checked the 'file' either...

Please advise.
