    how do I save onedrive files onto a thumb drive?

    I LOATHE AND DESPISE WINDOWS 10. Why is everything so damn complicated? All I am trying to do is save files from one drive to my computer and/or a thumb drive. I don't TRUST the cloud. I don't want to leave my pictures and documents just in the cloud. it
    takes FOREVER to access stuff in the cloud. I cannot find any instructions anywhere on how to save cloud documents and photos to a thumb drive or even to my computer.

    I tried to just copy/paste from one drive to my computer...but the stupid windows 10 starts to copy from one drive TO one drive instead!

    WP Excel won't open cloud Excel Files

    I am running WP 7.5 and use Office 2010 (32 bit) on my computer.



    I have been using my WP to open/edit Excel files stored on Skydrive for some time.



    Suddenly, WP will not open the same files which it could open just awhile ago.



    I have used Office to edit these spreadsheets since the last time I opened them with WPExcel and saved them in the same format as before.



    WPExcel states:

    "Can't Open. Excel doen't recognize the file format "<filename"".



    Yet these files open without issue with Excel 2010.



    Any suggestions?

    Update - it seems that WPExcel will open cloud Excel files that have not been recently opened by Excel 2010. Those files operate properly. However, once I open them with Excel 2010 and save them - WPExcel can not open them. Problem with Excel 2010?

    Recent shortcuts for apps show files on OneDrive instead of local hard drive

    I was able to follow the steps and uncheck the "Use Office apps to sync" box but it didn't change Office's behavior. I opened and closed an Excel spreadsheet on my local hard drive. After that, when I right-clicked on the Excel icon pinned to the taskbar, a link to the OneDrive cloud file was in the list of recent files instead of a link to the file on my hard drive.

    Do you have any other suggestions?
