Windows 10: How do i save Registry edits I do in WinRE?

Hello there,I want to add a multi-stringEaseUs EPMVolFlt registry key i deleted, back into the registry, in WinRe.I insert the multi-string key back and insert its value. Put back the 2 EPMVolFlt files its associated with and click Exit & Continue, but the save doesn't stick. Back to BSOD, back to registry, i check the hive and the key is gone and because of it, the above files with it.What exactly am i doing wrong and what do I have to do, because i made a Registry backup, which I tried importing and we're back at it again. Not saving. Like I never did it. That multi-string is still gon

registry edit no longer controls adaptive contrast

Did you back up the registry before making any changes to the Registry Editor because serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly?

Try the below methods and see if this helps.

Method 1: Disable Display Power Saving Technology.

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop > Graphics Properties >
Power > Power Feature > Click on the drop-down list and change to
On Battery and uncheck the box beside to
Display Power Saving Technology and see if this helps.

Note: Restart your computer once for the changes to take effect and check for the issue.

Method 2: Registry Edit.

We know that you have changed the registry value, but try the below steps and change the value of FeatureTestControl to 9250 and leave it in base hexadecimal.

Step 1: Press the Windows key and the
R key from your keyboard and type Regedit and hit
Enter.

Step 2: Navigate to the following key.

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ ControlSet001 \ Control \ Class \ {4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} \ 0001

Step 3: Then, look for FeatureTestControl key >
Right-click on the key > Then, change the data to 9250 without changing anything else and exit the registry.

Note: Restart the computer once for the changes to take effect.

Cannot edit images when saved in Fresh paint

Hi Kamila,

As per the information, I understand that when you save an image drawn in Fresh Paint, you are unable to edit the image once saved.

If the above is true, I suggest that you follow the steps below to save the image in a manner that will allow you to edit it.

• To save your painting right click on fresh paint and click on
  Save as. You will get an option to select the location.
• Select the location and save the painting.
• When you reopen fresh paint you will be on the painting you used before closing fresh paint. If you do not get the painting, you may click on image and go to the location and select the image to edit.
