Windows 10: How do I "separate" two separate accounts/profiles on my Computer?

Separate 2 computers from 1 Microsoft account

As you want to remove the Microsoft account from one of the two computers, I suggest to convert the Microsoft account to a local account on one of the computers. This will separate two computers from the same Microsoft account.

However, if you don’t want to convert the user account to a local account, then you need to use a different Microsoft email ID to separate two computers.



To use a different Microsoft email account on one of the computer, you first need to convert the current account to a local account by following the same steps provided in the article above, then click on
Sign-in with Microsoft account instead option from settings and enter the different Microsoft credentials that you wish to use.

separating settings on computers under one profile

Have few computers under one profile, yet when a setting is changed in one, it changes the others also. One is a gaming and when the mouse is changed in one computer it changes in gaming computer, then when gaming computer on, other computers cannot log
on at all. How can this be fixed so that they stay under one profile but operate separately?

 

Separate Hardware Profiles

I'm going to be running XP Pro 64 and I'm building a machine that will be primarily a home studio machine, meaning passively cooled GPU, big fans at low settings, quiet HDDs and PSU, etc.

I'm also going to be gaming a bit. I'll want the fans cranked during those times, and I think I might underclock the GPU for home studio use. Is this something that can be managed using XP's hardware profile feature? I ask because it looks like separate hardware profiles depend mostly on booting into the desired profile and making changes in the Device Manager, and I don't know that stuff like GPU clocking and fan speed can be managed through the device manager.
