Windows 10: How do I set an application to open to a specific virtual desktop by default?

I am trying to use virtual desktops. I want a desktop for active meetings that is my default location to open Teams, Zoom, Mural, Camera Controls, Sound Controls, Calendar Items in Outlook, & Word. I want a desktop for Office WIP that is the default location to open Excel, PowerPoint, or Visio.I want a desktop for web research that is my default location to open Edge, Chrome, or Acrobat,I want a desktop for email that is my default location to open Outlook or Outlook Email windows.I want a desktop for Adobe WIP that is my default location to open Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Characte

How do I set an application to open to a specific virtual desktop by default?

I am trying to use virtual desktops.

• I want a desktop for active meetings that is my default location to open Teams, Zoom, Mural, Camera Controls, Sound Controls, Calendar Items in Outlook, & Word.
  
• I want a desktop for Office WIP that is the default location to open Excel, PowerPoint, or Visio.
  
• I want a desktop for web research that is my default location to open Edge, Chrome, or Acrobat,
  
• I want a desktop for email that is my default location to open Outlook or Outlook Email windows.
  
• I want a desktop for Adobe WIP that is my default location to open Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Character Animator, or In Design.
  

This would be a trivial task on MacOS but seems impossible with out of the box Windows 11, which is all I am going to have access to use on a work computer. This should be an easy request to satisfy but I see no information about how to do this so perhaps I am overly optimistic.

Without this level of intelligence, virtual desktops will remain a silly toy rather than something that provides productivity.

 

Start specific applications in a certain virtual desktop

Usually, I have 3 virtual desktops active. The applications I use are as follows.

1. Workspace 1 - IDE, Obsidian
   
2. Workspace 2 - Firefox
   
3. Workspace 3 - Discord, Spotify
   

Every time I turn up my laptop, I start them manually and put them into the correct workspaces. I want them to start automatically when I start them. Also, I am aware of vdesk which enables me to open applications on specific virtual desktops. But I don't want any script to run on startup creating applications. My goal is to when I start the application, for example firefox by clicking on the icon or by searching, it should start in the second virtual desktop.

Opening Apps in Specific Virtual Desktops

Hi, I was wondering if there's a way to set my apps to open in particular virtual desktops.

Desired effect: When I run the following apps, I'd like for them to open only in their designated vitrual desktops. (E.x. I'd like for my Spotify to open only in Virtual Desktop 5, and my browser to open only in Virtual Desktop 2)
