  1. How do I set default image size when I open image files with the Photos application?

In the past, whenever I opened the Photos app which is my default image viewer, it would open at least as either 1280x720 or 1600x800. Nowadays it's stuck at a much smaller size window whenever I open an image file, and I can't find a setting or property function that may fix this. Is there a way to set a default window size for Photos application? Would it be in Settings, or a code I'd have to enter in command prompt?

    :)

How To: Set Photo Image sizes

There is a way of reducing the size of an PC individual photo folder, space the files in the folder take up?

Select a photo folder, go to a photo folders 'Picture Properties': Advanced?

Tick box marked 'compress' save room on the disk, then tap 'apply', PC will reduce the photo file size?

Same can be used to reduce the size of photos in photo folders in a 'My Pictures' photo folder.

How long the latter takes to do, depends on how many photos are in the PC's 'My Pictures' photo folder?

If one can do this to reduce the size of the files, increase the space on a disk by 'compression'?

Perhaps one can set the photos size, on the PC, before they are downloaded from a digital camera.

With a 'Image Size: Small' setting?

How To: Set Photo Image sizes

How can one set the size of image one wants on a Windows 10 PC?

    A. One can re-size selected photos (files) that one attaches to e mails.

    B. One can resize selected images in the Windows 10 PC 'Photos' folder, by way of 'Paint', change 'Paint' resize settings to 'pixels' than 'percentage, etc.

In order to be able to upload to a 'photo forum' website, that has image size specifics?

    C. One can resize photos, after downloading from a digital camera, by way of 'Photoshop' software?

How can one set the image size on a Windows 10 PC, the 'Photo' folder, before doing, needing to do A, B?

Is there a 'default' setting in the Windows 10 O/S or in the Windows 10 'Photo' App that one can adjust?

is this an Windows 10 'App' settings problem or a 'Files, Folders' size settings problem?

  4. How do I set default image size when I open image files with the Photos application?

Can't open image files, default viewer also doesn't work.

    Hello,

File corruption is one of the possible reasons why you're having issue opening image files. For us to identify and isolate this issue better, we need to gather more information. Kindly answer the following questions:

    • Where are those images located?
    • Any error messages, if there's any?
    • Which program are you using to open those images?
    • What is the file format of the images?

We would suggest using Windows Photo Viewer to open this file and check if it helps. We would also suggest making Windows Photo Viewer as the default program to open pictures and check.

We'll be waiting for your response.
