Windows 10: How do I set it so that when I press the return to desktop button it only applies to the...

Pretty much the title. I got a second monitor the day before yesterday.

When I gamed with only 1 monitor I always used Discord in the Background but now I have it on my second monitor. Though every time I tab out of my game in the first tab by pressing the "return to desktop" button in the bottom right corner, it returns to desktop in the second monitor too.

What do I have to do in the settings so that it only applies to the desktop where it's activated? Is there any option?

"apply" button for settings


Windows 10 uses the "new" approach to user interface. When you make changes in a non-modal settings window, they apply immediately, without waiting for you to hit any buttons. There's no need and no point in Apply button for such settings.

If you want to return to higher level settings window you hit the "back" arrow in the upper-left corner . If you want to leave settings altogether, you hit X.

 

Set background slideshow

• Press Windows logo key + I key.
• Click on Personalization.
• Under Background dropdown menu, select slideshow.
• Click on Browse button and then select the folder from which the desktop slide’s to be applied.
