  1. How do I set my brighness individually for battery and pluged-in mode?

    Hello!

I am having a weird issue that is driving me nuts. I can say, on Manjaro Linux with my other HDD it does not appear. Great.

The problem is that I cannot set the brightness for battery mode and plugged-in mode individually. The sliders that were recently there were gone, plus my desktop looks different again without doing something "*Sigh" new windows update I did not need. The issue is that I have an old laptop where the laptop doesn't always recognize that it does in fact charge. And when it suddenly does not recognize it, my screen brightness drops. And while setting it to max does nothing. It must go brighter because it was before?!

Please can someone help me? Even I, a computer nerd have got problems that are unfixable at the moment.

The issue with the battery not recognized charging is not a big deal because it charges enough so that I keep my laptop plugged in it's basically ok, like on Manjaro Linux yes still the same problem but the brightness is good...

Nope. Nothing there. I don't know what to do and this drives me nuts! I can remember it being there previously! And all the help tells me to click on something nonexisting, at least not anymore

Well, actually another reason to hate windows : sorry

    Thanks already!

    :)

How do I set my brighness individually for battery and pluged-in mode?

Can't start individual programs in safe mode

The next step would be to download Autoruns for Windows from Microsoft.

It will tell you everything that starts automatically (but you can subset by drivers, log-on items etc by picking the relevant tab).

The most obvious thing to do would be to go to Everything and then on the Options tab tick Hide Microsoft Entries

You can then turn things off and on from there.
