Windows 10: How do I set my screen to lock on a timeout duration of more than 1 minute?

I bought a new laptop with Windows 11, an ROG X13 running on AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS with 32gb RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU. I personally don't think those are relevant since I highly doubt it would interfere with my lock screen. But it has been asked before its been 5 days since I started trying to fix this so I provided it.I have tried 5 different ways to do it based on what I can find that's been previously posted. But my screen still locks without fail after 1 minute.It makes Windows 11 unfit for its purpose since I can't work without thinking and there are a lot of instances

Windows 11 locks my screen after 1 minute

On my new Windows 11 laptop, the screen locks after 1 minute, no matter what settings I change. Things I've tried:

• Power plan setting: Turn off display after 4 minutes (both battery and plugged in)
  
• Advanced power plan setting: Sleep / Sleep after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
  
• Advanced power plan setting: System unattended sleep timeout after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
  
• Advanced power plan setting: Display / Turn off display after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
  
• Advanced power plan setting: Display / Console lock display off timeout after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
  
• System > Power & Battery setting: Screen and Sleep / Turn off my screen after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in) (also recommended here)
  
• Set the screensaver to "none"
  

At this point I'm stumped. Anything else that might be causing this?

 

How to change the Screen Timeout settings

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  Right click on the desktop and click on Personalization.
  
• 
  Click on Lock screen
  
• 
  On the bottom of the screen click on Screen Timeout.
  
• 
  Under screen select the Time period accordingly.

Lock screen duration

It’s going to sleep after 1 minute as it is set as default.

Below are the steps you can try resolving the issue.

1. Press Windows + I key and select Personalization.

2. Select Lock screen an select screen timeout.

3. Select the number of minutes you want and select
OK.
