Windows 10: How do I set separate screen time limits for my son's devices?

My son has a laptop which he uses mostly for school and a gamer PC which - you wouldn't expect it - he doesn't use for school. I want to set separate screen time limits for both devices but somehow Microsoft Family Safety does not allow for this. I've found various threads saying that I can select the devices separately and then delete one of the devices but no matter what I've tried, no luck. I don't want to remove my son from the Family Safety group as suggested in some places as that would defeat the purpose of the exercise. I am the administrator of my family group and my son is a regular

One of the possible reasons why you encounter your concern is sometimes your child’s Microsoft account may expire on their device and it will not be recognized as one of the existing child accounts in your family. To resolve your concern, we suggest
that you remove the exiting child account of your son in your family and add it back again. To do this follow the steps below:

• To remove an account on your family, follow these steps:

A. From a web browser, go to
http://account.microsoft.com/family and sign in with the Microsoft account of an adult in the family.

B. To remove a child, select Remove at the top of the section labeled Select a child to view or edit their settings.

To remove an adult, including the account you used to sign in with, select Remove at the top of the Adults section. If you're the only adult in the family, you'll need to remove all the kids before you can remove yourself.

C. Select the person you want to remove from the family.

D. Select the Remove button that appears when you've chosen the person to remove.

Ex helping son bypass screen time limits

Hi. I set up screen time limits for my son's account which have been working fine. Until I sent him to his father's house for a week. As it's school holidays right now I told my son I would relax the time limits for his account while he is at his dad's house.
My son told me not to worry because his father already did it. I was slightly alarmed and confused. I didn't see how his father could have access to that as I'm the only adult listed on our family account. I checked the family settings and the restrictions
were still in place so I figured my son was just confused. However, the activity report showed that he was in fact using his account when he shouldn't have been able to. Not only that but he was using it until 2:30 in the morning on some nights! I tested his
account on his computer at home and also on my laptop. The restrictions were working on both of those. Clearly my ex has found a way to bypass the restrictions somehow. I was worried he might have discovered my password and was simply getting my son to click
on "my parent is here" and then signing in for him. I checked my Microsoft account and discovered my ex had tried to log into my account but he couldn't as he just tried to guess the password. He also signed into my son's account the same night and changed
some security settings. I changed both of our passwords just to be safe. That had no effect. My son is still logging in and using his account as much as he wants. My son had a sleepover at a friends house while he was at his dad's and it looks like he's logged
into his account at their house too. So it can't just be my ex's computer.

Can anyone tell me how he could be getting around these time limits? I'm baffled.
