Windows 10: how do i set the refresh to 240?

Hi, I know my graphics card and monitor support 240hz, but I can't set it to more than 60. I have tried many tutorials to try and fix this problem and couldn't.I just bought this monitor and it came with a new display port version 1.4 I plugged it into the graphics card, can someone help me fix this is really frustrating.

Why does my screen go dark when I up the refresh rate to 240

My screen goes dark when I up my refresh rate to 240 hz, I have a 7900 xtx and a 7 7800x3d and a omen 1440 p 240 hz refresh rate monitor but when I try to up it to 240 it goes back to whatever the hz was before after going dark for a couple seconds

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Where are the resolution/refresh rate settings in AMD Crimson?

Having to use Windows display settings manager to change resolution. Advanced display settings shows the resolution but to change refresh rate i have to go to display adapter properties!

It's just a longer step than it being right there one click away in CCC. Not only that but CCC is still there in Crimson if you use the advanced settings.
