I understand how difficult it is, when the device won't work in the way it should.

The issue might be due to the connection problem with your display, display adapter driver update, or issues with recent updates or installation. For us to isolate the issue, we'd like to know more information on this.

Which build version of Windows 10 are you using?

We can try the below steps and check if we can fix this.

Method 1: Update the VGA driver from ASUS website.

I'd suggest you to download and install the
VGA driver from the system manufacturer site, and check if the issue persists.

Method 2: Troubleshoot black screen errors.

I'd suggest you to refer this article on
Troubleshoot black screen or blank screen errors, and try all the suggestions.

HP DeskJet 9670 printer on Windows 10.

Go to the HP Support Web Site as below...

In my case I then needed to go to Step 3 and working through from there - my printer was NOT in the list so I had to select the bottom option 'Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings' and click 'Next', working through their Online
instructions from there. The next screen will probably give you the option to update the list of printer drivers on your PC: go for that BUT note that it may well appear to have stopped working as it took perhaps 10-15 minutes to update! Go and make a cup
of coffee in the interim!

If your printer is on one or other of the HP/Hewlett Packard lists then you should be OK, if not, you will need to ascertain which listed printer is the nearest or recommended substitute one to use. HP should have a list of suggestions if it is not too old,
otherwise try the 9800, which is the one that I have to use for my 9670 (which is A3).

Windows Update KB4022725 breaks hp network printer driver


The following steps worked for me:

1. Remove HP printer via classic Control panel>Hardware and Sound>Right click on HP printer to remove it. OR Windows Settings> Devices>Printers and scanners>Click on HP printer in list and Remove device.

2. Remove HP Basic printer driver via classic Control panel> Uninstall a program (Remove e-Print via Windows Settings). OR Windows settings> Apps> HP driver uninstall and HP e-Print uninstall.

3. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo. Type printui.exe /s and click OK opens Print Server Properties.
Click on Drivers tab. Under installed printer drivers look for HP e-Print click on it and click Remove at the bottom and then exit.

4. Open Windows Settings or classic Control Panel and add printer. If your printer is connected to your network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet windows will find it. Select your printer and windows will install the driver.
Do not use printer driver from HP as this will re-install e-Print.

PS HP sort your software out; many people are using Windows 10 and they don't need to struggle to get HP products to work!
