    How do I solve the KB2538242 issue of continued updates of this on a daily or hourly basis....


    Daily when I click on check for updates, KB2538242 claims to have an update for this, downloads, installs and the same thing happens the next hour, day, week, month, year. What gives, can this be fixed or do I need a clean reinstall?

    How do I use task scheduler to setup hourly reminders

    I want to use task scheduler to setup periodic reminders and since I'd no idea how to do this I googled and tried this but no success. So how do I do this. I'm trying to setup a reminder on a hourly or so basis to do exercises for RSI in my hands.
    Appreciate any help How do I solve the KB2538242 issue of continued updates of this on a daily or hourly basis.... :)

    Windows 10 Pro Reactivation on Daily Basis

    I have a problem with my PC requiring reactivation on a daily basis. The activation error is 0xC004F050 which suggests that I have changed the motherboard but that is not the case. I can reactivate the Windows 10 Pro account with the Troubleshooter or
    by re-entering the Product Key or by using the online activation, etc., but the activation error returns the next day. I purchased an OEM version of Windows 10 Pro 64 last May 2018 for a new home built PC and it worked fine until about a month ago. I updated
    the motherboard BIOS and some drivers and the Intel Management Engine but have not changed any hardware except for swapping monitors. I prefer not to reinstall Windows if I don't have to.

    What can I do to fix this daily reactivation routine?

    1. I have not made any changes to the system prior to this issue.

    2. No, I have not installed a third-party antivirus on the system.

    I tried both step 1 and 2. The issue was still occurring.

Seems incidence of happening greatly reduced by switching off Game Input services which keeps installing, however issue remains, especially when downloading large size files video game -> steam, will crash at least 5-7...
