    Hi,I have a Windows 11 desktop 24H2 and a NAS drive connected to my wireless router. There are no problems accessing the files on that NAS drive using the desktop via the file explorer and network route. I also have a Windows 11 laptop also 24H2 and every time I go into 'file explorer', then 'network' and double click on the NAS drive I receive the message 'Windows cannot access \\.....' and under see details in that message it identifies Error code: 0x80070035. The network path was not found. I've done a lot of internet searching but nothing has worked so far, such as playing around with

    Hi,
    I am unable to access one of three computers on my local network via File Explorer
    I can access the other two and I can access a network local external drive.
    The error is :
    error code 0x80070035 the network path was not found
    This expands into:
    one or more network protocols are missing on this computer
    windows sockets registry entries required for netork connectivity are missing
    The post from SimBy in Network Protocols says to disable netbios over TCP/IP.

    Microsoft allows computers with Microsoft Windows operating systems and sharing the same network to have access to the files and data on each other's computer without cables. But the initiating user might see the message saying
    that Error code: 0x80070035. I suggest you to follow the below steps, and check if that helps.



    Make sure your drive is shared.

    To do that,

    1. Right-click on the drive located on the target computer that you attempt visiting, for example, C: drive, and select Properties.
    2. Click on Sharing tab and check if the network path says Not Shared.
    3. If it's not shared, click Advanced Sharing tab.
    4. Mark the Share this folder check box and make sure that the Share name is typed correctly.
    5. Click Apply and OK to save the changes.
    6. Finally, press Windows key + R, type the name of the shared folder, and press Enter.
