    How do i solved a microsoft installer error 1648 issue


    I am trying to update Turbo Tax 2024 and am getting the following error: Failed to install update: Microsoft installer error 1648 no valid sequence could be found for set of updates.Turbo tax said to contact Microsoft. Could you assist? We have windows 11 i believe

    if I correctly understand the error 1648 message it means:

    The Netlogon service failed to register the service with the

    service controller. The service was terminated. The following

    error occurred:

    check the Event Log

    search all of Microsoft.com

    I searched just MS Community and found many apparently unresolved Installer errors.

    search TurboTax.com

    Call Microsoft support describe problem including the above explanation of the error.

    How do i solved a microsoft installer error 1648 issue

    unexpected windows installer error 1648

    installed Turbo Tax business 2018 on computer and when the program opened and started updating from Intuit website the program crashed. Now whenever I try to delete the program or reinstall all I get is " unexpected windows installer Error, error code
    1648. Anyone have a solution to correct this error?
