    How do i stop a "clean all" cmd comand?


    HejI wanted to just clean one of my hard drives. I reinstalled Windows 11, and the extra hard drive still had data on it after this process. I just wanted it to be gone so I can start completely over with my PC. I am not going to sell it, and it is 4TB. I started a Clean All command in the administrator Command Prompt, but it will take approximately 12 hours to clean all the data. Is there a way I can stop this process and just delete the files the map of the files so I can start over in a way faster way?Thanks- Zhadow

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Run CMD


    1. diskpart
    2. list disk

    Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

    2. select disk #
    3. clean
    4. create partition primary
    5. select partition 1
    6. active
    7. format fs=fat32
    8. assign
    9. exit

    with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

    i have fully updated the computer and tried the steps above and on steams site as well as running cmd as admin and running comand sfc /scannow and many other fixes any other suggestions?
