    How do I stop a roughly 2" x 3" rectangle containing a whole bunch of small black and white squares from quickly flashing "on" and "off" on my Windows 11 Home Ed. computer screen every now and again?

    Small white rectangle below folder icons

    I noticed there are small white rectangles covering part of the folder icon, how do I get rid of it? I tried reinstalling the graphics driver and it still didn't work.

    Black rectangle appears in search view

    Black (dark gray) rectangle appearing on fresh windows 10 installation (Oct 2018) when trying to use search on start menu.

    Steps:

    1. Pressed start menu button.

    2. Started typing.

    3. Transformed to search view where rectangle appearred.
