  1. How do I stop an organization from changing my PIN on Windows 11 home

I have received a message every couple of weeks telling me an organization requires my PIN to change. This has become increasingly frustrating because I cannot reuse previous PINs. I have disabled any work or school accounts through settings and tried using gpedit.msc but I can't access it because I have Windows 11 Home. I have also tried using regedit but I did not find any of the Policy Files. If anyone knows what else, I could do would be very helpful.

    :)

  2. Windows 11 pin says "Organization requires pin change"

When I log into Windows 11 Home edition I use a pin. After a few weeks it will prompt me to change my pin and shows "Organization requires pin change". This is a personal computer and there is no organization, I do not want to have to change my pin every few weeks. I have seen solutions for Windows 10 for this problem but those do not work for me with Windows 11.

How do I disable changing my pin every few weeks?

  3. How to change PIN on my laptop without organization

How can I change the PIN on my laptop from one number to a new one? It wont allow me without some organization. This is my laptop. Not yours, not some organizations for them to manage for me. It used to be so simple, yet here we are playing these stupid games just to frustrate your customers on purpose.

Some clown has my PIN and can open my laptop at any time, so why am I being stopped in every way imaginable from changing my PIN? I want a PIN, not a 3000 word essay password every time I want to log in.

Windows hello is the worst feature. You need to stop making everything online and organization dependant because its my security and my secret passwords and PIN numbers, why should someone else manage it and know it for me? I know this is part of the process of making windows 10 obsolete to force me to use windows 11, so I really hope windows goes bankrupt soon. This is the nicest way I could write this post, so you know exactly what I mean.

How do I stop an organization from changing my PIN on Windows 11 home

Windows 11 pin says "Organization requires pin change", Removed work organization but still cannot change my PIN..

    Hi all,

As the title says, I connected to my personal laptop to my work email and I got the dreaded "your organization requires a PIN change" when I tried to log into my PC this morning.. I changed it to fit the required six letters and then I went in and I removed my work account from my PC. I tried to change my PIN back to my original PIN but it still says that my organization requires the PIN to be 6 characters or more. I did restart my laptop after I removed the organization but I'm still getting the same PIN requirements upon restart when I try to change it.

how do I get rid of this? I've tried following the guides I've found in this site, I do not have the local group policy editor (or I can't find it despite my best efforts) and I also cannot find anything in the HKEY registry to change. I'm at a loss.

I'm just trying to make sure all of my work / organization stuff is off my computer so that I can go back to my old PIN and not have anything under my IT organizations control.

    Thanks!
