Windows 10: How do i stop downloading to print

Ever since edge. every time I want to print anything, it makes me download. I want this to stop so I can just print without downloading.

where do i change this?

I would suggest you check if the print spooler is running. Start/Stop print spooler service. Follow the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type services.msc
  and press Enter.
  
• 
  From the list, locate Print Spooler service.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and select Stop.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, repeat step 1&2.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and check if the service is started.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows +R.
  
• 
  Type services.msc
  in the box.
  
• 
  Search and Select Print spooler.
  
• 
  Right click on print Spooler and stop and restart the services and check if it helps.
  

Note: Make sure that Print Spooler should be Automatic in services.
