Windows 10: How do I stop Event Viewer error: 5379 and Special Login

How do I stop Event Viewer error: 5379 and Special Login?They continue to appear in event viewer. This tends to happen when the unit is put to sleep. I found these errors in the system log on the event viewer, again from after I put it to sleep. They all show similar details: The server {A463FCB9-6B1C-4E0D-A80B-A2CA7999E25D} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.All three had the above message, the third one 10:57:22pm also had this message: The server {5F7F3F7B-1177-4D4B-B1DB

Event Viewer - Security: "Special Login?"

Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie at posting so please be gentle *Smile

What's the deal with these "special logins" in the Security Report within Win10 Event Viewer?
Here's a screenshot.:




The entries are frequent and every minute or so. What's going on?

Excessive Security Log Events - Event ID 5379 - Windows 10

Having the same issue here. Got here because some of my games were crashing, straight to desktop with no error messages. Upon checking the event viewer, every time I see a crash, I see event 4624, immediately followed by event 4672 and then a big list of event 5379. This causes my games to crash every time it happens, multiple times per hour. My gaming PC is basically unusable. Haven't found a fix anywhere.

As someone else pointed out, yes we know that event 5379 is not the CAUSE of the issue, but it has to be related or caused by that same issue because it wouldn't be there for every crash otherwise.

I now ran sfc /scannow and it found some corrupt files, I will update if this ended up fixing the issue but somehow I doubt it will be this easy.

 

Error in Event Viewer

As you have mentioned, you have performed a repair installation on the computer and you see Event 508, 510 and 533 in Event Viewer.



I would like to inform that if you see any critical error in Event Viewer, please share the event logs with us to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please follow the steps mentioned below to share the event logs:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   Applications.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now, look for a critical Error in the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.
