Windows 10: How do I stop game from installing itself from Store/Gamepass??

Hello! I have previously played Lies of P through PC gamepass and I finished it so I uninstalled it. Then one day when I turned the computer on after awhile I noticed the lies of p app icon was on the start menu again. So I uninstalled it again but it comes back every time I start my pc. Don’t know what to do so I could really use some help cause it’s getting tedious.

Games with gamepass redirect on store page for the gaming service instead launching games

As per title, i can't play games with gamepass.
I recently had other problems installing via gamepass, and solved them with the "wsreset -i" command (suggested here in the forum)

I've tried already:

reinstall or reset game services, both from settings / app and from PowerShell

windows update has no updates

restore xbox app and store

Update: deleting with start unlocker all the folders of all my games, and downloading all of them again fixed the problem,

 

Unable to launch many gaming related apps/MS store/gamepass games

• I am unable to launch game bar on my PC (appears to open but closes instantly) - it WAS working fine a few days ago.
• I am unable to launch microsoft store on my PC (appears to open but closes instantly) - it WAS working fine a few days ago.
• I cannot open xbox console companion on windows (appears to open but closes instantly)
• Many gamepass games won't launch, some say im not logged in (but i obviously am logged into my gamepass account)
  
  I have tried a number of solutions I found on the internet from simple reinstall to running various command prompt and powershell commands, I have ensured I have folder and file permissions for the microsoft apps folder on this account.
  
  Because I cannot launch the microsoft store I can't attempt to reinstall some items.
  

 

Is it me or is the windows store not fit for purpose for gaming?

Having an absolutely awful time with gaming via the windows store, so much that I've cancelled my gamepass subscription. Is it just me or is this just totally unfit for use?

Simple tasks like trying to find and launch the games I own are tediously long winded while seeing exactly what games I actually get for my £7.99 monthly subscription seems an entirely absent feature. I'm regularly trying to start games that worked fine for weeks to be suddenly be greeted with meaningless error messages and failures, searching in the search feature is just broken (no results searching in the windows store for forza while autocomplete is right there showing forza games and dlc in the dropdown), games shown as installed entirely skip out anything installed as part of the gamepass and it's as if they are not installed..... the list of frustrations goes on.

Surely this can't be right, have they really made such a mess of it all?
