Windows 10: How do I stop getting the reboot/restart message due to hardware changes. I have rebooted...

need to reboot/restart. have done this several times still get the hardware has changed, reboot?

Try turning off automatic restart on system failure and see if it is giving a blue-screen before it reboots. That might at least give you an error message or code so you can start your troubleshooting from there. Otherwise it is just a shot in the dark. It could be bad RAM, bad HDD, bad ODD, a bad cable somewhere, PSU dying, motherboard dying, a software issue and the list goes on...

I don't think he ever said it reboots during the boot process. It just randomly reboots while the computer is running.

 

"Your hardware settings have changed. Please reboot your computer for these settings to take effect !!" on every reboot

I only want to stop this message! Non of your solutions work.

Can you please give instructions about how to make the message go away?

Clearly this is a Win10 thing. It slows down my startup as it stops at that message.

The message is clearly an error in Win10, as it tells me to Reboot. After reboot,

the message is still there, and Windows is obviously not registering that I already

have rebooted.
