Windows 10: How do i stop Microsoft Office One-Click

Every time I use my computer Microsoft Office keep running in the background. I tried everything, from force closing it in taskbar(joblist) to disable it via services. It seems like it’s random, sometimes I can go 6 hours without it running, other times it starts up every 5 minutes.

One thing i found out is that if I have taskbar open, there is less change that it will start running, but as soon as I close it, it will start running again.

The only solution I found was removing office from windows, but because I’m studying this is not an option for me.

Windows 10 upgrade, where is my Microsoft Office?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• Type “Programs and Features” in the search box and press Enter.
• Check if Microsoft Office application is listed in the list of installed applications.
• If it is listed, then navigate to This PC>Local disc (C>Windows.old.
• Check if the Office application is present there.
• If still not found, then suggest you to install the application using the installation media.
