Windows 10: how do i stop Microsoft store from stopping downloads

Whenever I try and download something The Microsoft store stops the download saying that this app isn't in the Microsoft store and I don't know how to stop this from happening.

How Do I stop Windows Update downloading stuff from Microft Store ?

Thanks for the info. As I said I have disabled automatic updates in the microsoft store via its app.It will be interesting to see if this stops them being downloaded even if only as a temporary situation. Thanks also for the other suggestions

 

Microsoft store starting and stopping game downloads constantly

Downloading State of Decay 2 off the Microsoft store and the thing just stops waits like a minute, downloads a couple MBs then stops again. No other game does it, I searched the forums and tried all the suggestions I could find. In fact I have downloaded
more for Forza Horizon 4 in the amount of time it took to write this than after 2 hours of downloading State of Decay 2. Can someone help me fix this.
